About Wendy Walker Silverman:
You can see Wendy’s solo painting show “An Opal Ring and the Stories That Scared Me” at Galerie Tangerine through August 9. For CANOPY, she has brought together some of her favorite creative people and products, and will also feature products from her textile line and selected works on paper.
About Dessous:
Inspired by the dessous — French underpieces for layering — that Sophie Simmons grew up wearing (which she inherited from her very stylish grandmother), Sophie designs each piece in Nashville. The collection is sewn in New York using a particular Japanese cotton, long-known for its superior weave and weight, and custom embroideries from an old lace mill north of Paris that still employs the same techniques they used in Sophie’s grandmother’s time. Dessous are not for fast fashion; they’re precisely what makes fashion age well — an investment that preserves elegance and luxury in everyday life. And that’s such a beautiful thing.
About the Apothecary line from Revel:
Personal chef and wellness guide Kindy Girdley has created Revel, a culinary and wellness experience with a focus on balancing the mind, body, and spirit, collectively. With the Apothecary line, Kindy has applied her studies of wellness, Ayurveda, and medicinal plants and herbs to create organic and wild-crafted self-care products for bath /body, ritual, and wellness. Each product is hand-made in small batches with loving intention.
