about the artist…

Harrison Gilman is based in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Filmmaking, a minor in Art History, and a minor in the Business of Entertainment. While attending film school, Harrison began to paint. By the time he graduated, Gilman was accepted into his first group show and had committed to being a painter.

Gilman’s work was first displayed in the 2018 We Rise Art Fair in Los Angeles alongside Shepard Fairey and other prominent LA artists. The following year, Gilman had his first solo show at Galerie Tangerine in Nashville, TN. Since then, Gilman has had three solo shows and various group shows, as well as a series of live painting events. Gilman’s art is currently on display at Artspace Warehouse and Playpen Studios in Los Angeles, California, and can be found in private collections in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Scottsdale, Toronto, and the UK.
